Random late night thoughts

   The fall is a blur, thrown over to time and forgetting. It is the before and after that haunts; the passions dimmed, the confidence shattered. Numbing the thoughts just not to think, afraid that the past will come and cause pain and suffering. Can one ever heal, truly? Can one be freed? Can one be as bright as they once were- or are they forever doomed to be dimmed?
